Bimbos are fun. We cannot NOT have fun. If a bimbo doesn’t enjoy doing something, she just doesn’t do it. We only have fun. A bimbo who isn’t having fun is doing it wrong. Second Life should be fun. But sometimes, it isn’t. What’s a Second Life bimbo to do?
Find the fun. D’uh. That’s what I just said. If you’re bored or frustrated in Second Life, listen to Lacey. I’ll tell you how to find the fun.
The Meaning of Second Life
I don’t play video games. Nothing against those who do. I’m really bad at them and they just don’t appeal to me. Plus, my nails make it pretty much impossible. You should see me typing this! Before I joined Second Life, I assumed it was a video game. It is in the sense that we control avatars in a virtual world. But it’s not in the sense that there are no predetermined goals to complete.
In the real world, we could have a philosophical discussion about the meaning of life. We could. But we won’t because we’re not lame. My point is just that it’s a question. And the simple answer (which is always the right answer – that’s just math) is that life has no meaning except what you bring to it.
Yeah, that’s right. Deep, huh?
Second Life is like that too. No one’s going to send you off to kill orcs or whatever. You can do almost anything you want. But you have to decide for yourself. What in this virtual world brings you happiness? For me, shopping can be fun. My girlfriend doesn’t love it.
That’s the first thing you’ve got to do. And it’s so simple even a bimbo can figure it out. Figure out what you enjoy doing and do more of that. And yet… people struggle. People are always asking, what do you do for fun in Second Life?
The Friends We Made Along the Way
When people ask these kinds of questions, they are probably frustrated by a lack of social interactions. You can have fun in Second Life by yourself. Most of my time in Second Life is spent on my own taking pictures. And I love it. However, if you’re not working on some personal goal or project you’ll probably get bored exploring Second Life on your own.
This is where things get tricky. You can find absolutely amazing places in Second Life. Beautiful. Immersive. And empty. Or, if there are other people, none of them seem to be talking. You look around for a while and you just can’t find an “in”. So you port off to the next place and do it all over again. And then the next place and the next.
Sooner or later, one of two things typically happens. Either you make a connection with a person, place or thing (you thing-people know who you are). Or you get bored and do something else. I don’t know. What do you people do in the real world? Tell me in the comments. #Engagement.
Impermanence
Yes, I know what “Impermanence” is. And yes, I misspelled it. I also misspelled the word “misspelled”. That’s what spell-check is for. I’m a bimbo not a spelling bee whatever.
The point is, nothing in Second Life is permanent. Recently I wrote about the quick closing of the recently opened sim, Bimbo Dreams. Stuff like this happens all the time. The real world interferes. Or the owner of the sim just gets bored and decides to do something else. Your favorite place or even your best friend can disappear overnight without warning or explanation.
So YOLO! Bimbos excel at this anyway. Live in the moment. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Or maybe it won’t. But that’s a problem for another day. Second Life is supposed to be your time away from the problems of the real world. So if you’re not having fun, do something else!
Ultimately, you have to make your own fun. External sources are unreliable. You might break a rule you didn’t even know existed and get banned from your favorite bar… (crazy but it happens). Anything and everything can change. The one constant is you.
Holy shit I need to write this down! Am I deep now? I am like the smartest bimbo in the world!
Conclusion
I am at a point where I am weighing different options. That’s nothing new for me. The more I step out of my blogging bubble, the more offers I get to participate in orgies or whatever. I get proposed to just about every other week. It can be hard being unbelievably sexy, but I manage.
My time in Second Life is limited. So I try to figure out how to use it best. How do I have the most fun? Solo activities like blogging are the most reliable. But they don’t satisfy every need. Bimbos are highly social. What’s the point of being the hottest girl in the room if no one is there to appreciate your hotness?
If a bimbo goes to a party in a low-cut dress and no one is there to see her, is she still sexy? Of course she is. But it’s a damn shame no one is enjoying the view!
Sorry, that got away from me. I’m a very lucky girl. Everywhere I go, I have fun. I have people in my Second Life with whom to share the fun. I’m meeting new people and going new places all the time. And it’s never anything but fun. So I guess be like me. That’s probably just good advice in general.
