As an early adopter of the Nhuma body, I have been very excited about all of the add-ons. The most recent one, Lively, is the first one that didn’t appeal to me all that much. As a bimbo, boobs are important to me. My preference, as you may have noticed, is for big fake titties. Lively runs completely counter to that. And to my surprise, I love it.
Shape Matters
Recently, I’ve been focusing a lot on size. I have actually gotten some criticism for it. I get it. These things are personal preference. Really big over-inflated boobs aren’t for everyone. At the larger sizes, they become very niche. Even the smaller chests I wear in SL would be considered very busty in the real world.
There’s an element of fantasy with tits that are bigger than your head. They do exist in real life, but most people don’t see balloon boobs every day. If you prefer “realistic” avatars, extreme curves can look cartoonish. I even had a commenter remark that most of my pictures look like mutants.
Honestly, shooting with great big tits presents all kinds of challenges. It’s far easier to take pictures with a reasonably sized chest. While size does matter, shape and shading is far more important for fashion photography.
Lively
That’s where the Lively add-on from Nhuma excels. It’s intended for users who want a smaller chest size. I imagine it will appeal to people who want a more androgynous look. It gave me 1980’s vibes. Very chic. Not especially bimbo. When I first saw it, I thought… eh, that one’s not for me.
The add-on is free for anyone who owns the Full version of Nhuma. I picked up the add-on even though I didn’t expect to get a lot of use out of it. It actually took me a few days to unpack it. What finally prompted me to do so was that some of my sponsors designed for it. I figured, why not give it a look.
I was really surprised by the results! Yes, the boobs were smaller than what I usually wear. But they looked absolutely fantastic! With my chest slider maxed out, I had a mouthwatering perky bust. These are tits you would get from a master surgeon on the real world.
They don’t scream “BIMBO” the way the dreamgirl add-on does. But they can still be plenty busty. It’s a sexy look for someone who isn’t trying to knock people out with their tits. And let’s face it, some outfits just don’t look good on over-sized ta-tas. But they will look amazing on a slender, elegant bimbo.
Is Lively for everyone? Nothing is. But I didn’t expect Lively to appeal to me. And now, I’m in love.
To Buy or Not to Buy
Since Nhumana launched their new body, I have been monitoring its value. For those not in the know, there are two versions of Nhuma. The “Lite” version is basically free. There is a 200L fee to get the “core”. But once you have that, the baseline body is free. I highly recommend this option to anyone with 200Ls to spare.
The full body is an additional 5000 lindens. That’s a much steeper proposition. If cost is a concern, it’s advisable to hold off until you’re convinced Nhuma is worth it. Upon release, I think the value proposition was questionable. But now… the full version is looking better and better.
In just a few months, Nhumana has released three add-ons. Dreamgirl has a version that works with the Lite body. But the last two add-ons are exclusive to the full version. If Nhumana continues releasing free add-ons exclusive to the full body, it becomes more and more appealing.
When Nhuma rolled out, they announced that twelve add-ons were in the works. That means we will have at least nine more ways to customize the Nhuma body. There’s no guarantee that they will all be free. So don’t buy the full body assuming that will be the case. But these add-ons make the full version into one of the most flexible mesh bodies on the market.
Additionally, Nhuma is receiving good support for a new body. Several of my sponsors have started designing for Nhuma. I have been surprised to see so much support for the add-ons as well. I didn’t expect to have this many choices this soon after release.
