Adventures of a Bimbo in Second Life

Stepford Bimbo: Becoming His Sexy Toy

The Stepford Bimbo Implant is a role play tool in Second Life. As a Second Life bimbo, I’ve been eyeing it for years. On a whim, I decided to take the plunge and try it out. I’ve had implants before. But never one quite like this!

What is a Stepford Bimbo?

The term “Stepford” originated with the book by Ira Levin. It refers to a small town in which the women are all strangely submissive to their husbands. I won’t spoil the book or the 1975 film adaptation. The term has grown beyond its origins. I think this is partially due to the 2004 remake which changed the mechanics of the story. And to the overall cultural impact that can be felt in homages like Don’t Worry Darling.

Today, when people talk about “Stepford” it can mean a lot of things. There’s a lot of overlap with what it means to be a bimbo. Stepford women are highly feminine. Generally submissive and sexually available. The term Stepford bimbo is almost redundant. But this device is part of a larger brand from Ellen Gee.

The Stepford Line includes three variations. The Stepford Wife is meant to be used with a partner. As such, it includes a higher level of control. The wearer will be restricted by their spouse. The latest addition to the line is the Stepford Slave. I’m not entirely sure what differentiates the Slave implant from the others. One assumes it’s a matter of degrees. My hypno daddy has generously offered to buy me one to test this theory.

For now, I am trying out the lightest product in the line, Stepford Bimbo. The product promises the following:

  • Mind and speech control
  • Compels her to submit
  • Makes her talk dirty
  • Limits Instant Messaging
  • Scores her reputation
  • Tracks her Libido
  • Scores saxperience skills
  • Customizable dirty talk

That seems like a lot for only L$899. How does the Stepford Bimbo implant stack up?

First Impressions

First of all, the installation was easy. I’m not good at techie stuff, but I could handle the Stepford Bimbo installation all by myself. It is script-heavy. I don’t tend to pay attention to that sort of thing. But a sim I visited had a board and I was on the naughty list there.

My first test of my new toy was at Street Whores. I have been meaning to spend more time there. Previously I found myself wandering around not really interacting with anyone. Maybe the implant would help? I don’t think it really did anything, but it may have sent out some IM’s I wasn’t aware of.

A man IM’d me out of the blue. Their English wasn’t perfect but their intent was clear. He wanted a woman to dominate him. Specifically, he wanted to be my “pussy slave”. I explained to this prospective slave the rules of the sim. It’s a place to meet and hire whores. Turns out he was new too. I haven’t heard from him since. I don’t know. I might have a slave now.

Later that night Darden and I went dancing. I left the implant on to see what happened. The implant only changes local chat. If you’re in a sim where people are IM’ing, it doesn’t do much. There tends to be a lot of local chat at the dances. So I thought maybe I’d get the Stepford Bimbo experience there.

Trust me when I say I dressed the part. But no. Despite the abundance of local chat, my intelligence and speech remained completely normal. That was probably for the best. No one signed up for a hot-to-trot bimbo at the dance. I did notice that “help messages” were sent to some people near me. No idea what that meant.

Becoming a Stepford Bimbo

The next day, I decided to get serious. I ported over to Mind Shift, a sim co-owned by my hypno daddy. It’s an adult themed sim that often has active local chats. It seemed like a good place to test out the Stepford Bimbo implant. Adam was online and wanted to hang out. So, I told him he could meet me there.

The thing is, everyone is always in my IM’s. They want privacy. I’m constantly flooded with IM’s. Sometimes, it’s very hard for me to carry on conversations because I don’t multi-task well. The implant doesn’t interact with IM’s except to restrict them. So, I utilized that feature to force people to talk to me in local chat. This worked out perfectly.

Now that I was in an adult sim, the implant was fully engaged. It would not allow me to say anything unless it was dirty. If I tried to say anything that didn’t include a sexually suggestive word, it would be replaced. The replacement always made me sound like a horny slot. This was fun but I found the phrases repeating too often.

There is an option to customize the dirty talk. Or to turn it off entirely. These are settings I will play with in the future. For the time being, I was incapable of saying anything that wasn’t sexually explicit. Looking at the HUD, my IQ was dropping and my libido was on the rise. I went from average intelligence, to naive, to blonde to dim.

As my IQ dipped, the implant started having fun with my spelling. It replaced words and phrases with valley girl slang and misspellings. Curiously, the Stepford Bimbo implant started replacing the word “bimbo” with “basic batch”. I wasn’t super fond of that one. But on the whole, it was fun to see how my words would be reinterpreted.

It didn’t take long for me to rip off my clothes and beg Adam to fuck me. We were going at it on a public bench in the center of the sim. Hypno Daddy was sitting nearby AFK. When he returned, he tried to send me some IM’s which were blocked. In local, he asked us to find a more private place to fuck.

That’s reasonable. But Mind Shift is one of those sims that encourages exploration. Meaning, yeah, you can find places to have sex. The key word is “find”. I didn’t have time for all that. So, I took Adam home to finish what we started.

Recommendations?

For me, it was fun. The Stepford Bimbo implant isn’t going to revolutionize your Second Life experience. But it can add a little spice to your role play if you’re looking to enhance your bimbo transformation. Adam felt differently. Reluctantly, he confessed that he would rather have the real me than the Stepford version.

Totally get it. It’s sweet even. This device isn’t going to be for everyone. I expect I’ll have the most fun with it with strangers. Just turning it on and going to a bimbo sim where I can go wild. I don’t know how often I’ll do that, but I think I’ll get my money’s worth.

I couldn’t explain a lot of what the implant does. I think that’s for the best. A lot of it is just for flavor. You want to play the part of a super dumb bimbo slut? The Stepford Bimbo implant will help you/force you to stay in character. If you are trying to do literally anything else, the implant will be a hindrance.

The intent is that you wear it all the time turning off features when they become inconvenient. That’s a bit much for me. I removed the implant after what I considered a successful test run. I’ll try it on occasionally when I want a spicy adventure. Probably when I’m with people who aren’t trying to form deep meaningful relationships.
